Dear Students, We would like to share some updates regarding ASC and WCS courses. First-year students can register for either ASC 200 or WCS 210/ASC 200. WCS 150/ASC 100 can be registered through the Add Course Form, with priority given to 4th-year students who still need to complete their WCS requirements. For ASC 300/301, students need to submit both a Prerequisite Override and an Add Course Form. Please also note that WCS graduate-level courses (5XX, 6XX, and 7XX) will no longer be offered and are not expected to be taught in the near future. For now, the Academic Success Center will focus on supporting undergraduate students with their Core Curriculum courses. More courses may be added in the future. Best, Ministry of Education

Dear Students, Here are the latest updates we have received on the school rankings: • SSH: The ranking will be updated this week. • SCAI: The ranking will be released a little later, as the school is newly launched. • SoE: The ranking will be updated after the Fall 2026 semester, and Geology, Mining and Minerals, and Petroleum Engineering students will be included. • GSB: The ranking for Economics students will be released later. We will be working on this together with school administration. • SoM: We are currently in touch with the school regarding the ranking for Biological Sciences students. Dear Students, The Academic Success Center (ASC) is starting Writing and Subject tutoring sessions for this semester. Subject Tutors provide additional support with MATH, ECON, KAZ, PHIL 210, BIOL, CHEM, CSCI, PLS, and ENG courses. Writing tutors can support students not only with grammar and writing style, but also with structure, analysis, and research approaches. All tutoring takes place in Block 4 (4.414 and the balcony), with schedules updated weekly. You can book a session through the Online Appointment System. We encourage you to sign up and take part in sessions!
