“I learnt that cultural differences aren’t something to be intimidated by. Even if we grew up in completely different environments, there are still so many ways to connect... My biggest takeaway was to approach people with openness, kindness and genuine curiosity. Our differences can give us more to talk about.”   🌍✨ Sometimes, the biggest adventures begin with a step outside your comfort zone.   For NUS Arts and Social Sciences and NUS College undergraduate Long Wen Xi, five months at University College Utrecht in the Netherlands became more than a student exchange — it was a journey of new friendships, fresh perspectives, newfound independence and discovering a second home. 💛   From cycling through Dutch streets to forging friendships across cultures, Wen Xi discovered that the world feels smaller when we open our hearts to new experiences and connections. 🌷🚲   ✨ Discover her inspiring journey at https://nus.edu/WenXiatUCU
