This is for both OP10 and the 10R and works as long as you have the proper KernelSU, Magisk or Apatch versions installed along with an unlocked bootloader. If you haven't already unlocked your bootloader, please see the #unlock_bootloader note. Note: You should patch the boot.img of the version of the ROM that you will be on. Example - if you patch the images of OOS .404 then you need to be on OOS .404 as well. Do not be on the lower or higher versions of the ROM. Required: Pick only one of these, KernelSU and Magisk patches the boot.img OR init_boot image whereas Apatch patches ONLY the boot image. KernelSU - https://github.com/tiann/KernelSU/releases/ Magisk - https://github.com/topjohnwu/Magisk/releases/ Apatch - https://github.com/bmax121/APatch/releases/ 1. Have the latest KernelSU, Magisk or Apatch installed. Links are given above. 2. Download the init_boot.img or boot.img from here or from the OOS_FILES_HERE folder of the downloaded ROM and put it in the phone’s Download folder. 3. Open KernelSU, Magisk or Apatch and click install at the top and patch the init_boot.img or boot.img that's in the downloads folder. 4. The patched image will be saved in the phone's downloads folder. 5. Move the patched image to the PC’s platform tools directory. 6. Boot the phone into fastboot mode from the system using - adb reboot bootloader 7. Once in the fastboot, run - fastboot flash init_boot "ksu/magisk_patched.img" or fastboot flash boot apatch_patched.img 8. After it flashes, run - fastboot reboot

#regional_differences

Global is the base that the other three regions are built on. It's not missing anything, but doesn't have anything added either. EU has privacy protections to comply with EU GDPR regulations. Also required by EU law, you will occasionally be offered alternatives to pre-installed Google apps. Indian firmware is global firmware + special Red Cable Club offers only for Indian users. If you flash the firmware outside of India, you will get data roaming notifications/offers and portable charging station notifications. NA firmware is global with bands specifically for NA carriers unlocked. NA is the only region that uses stock Google update to do software updates.

The server that hosted the rollback files was taken down long ago. You're either going to have to find it on another site or use fastboot to flash older firmware. Either way, you'll lose all data
