It is with heavy hearts that we have to announce our lead developer has left the team.
OpenPredict had lofty goals to become a recognized player in the crypto prediction space, even intending to venture out into the mainstream market with our OpenMarket platform. Sadly, we could not deliver upon those goals. Our key dates and delivery targets were delayed countless times and were unable to finish the platform in the end.
It has been an extremely frustrating journey not only on tech development challenges but also in the countless hours spent seeking partnerships which in the end fell apart as we were unable to deliver a working product for them to test drive. Our marketing efforts also never took off despite many attempts to push it to a list of influencers whom supposedly agreed to help us with content push. This is likely due to our products, TrustPredict and OpenMarket, never reaching a development stage far enough to convince said partners to stake their reputation in pushing our contents.

As it stands, we struggle to get the project back on track due to, among other internal issues beyond my control, the difficulty in finding suitable replacements for our lead developer without rewriting the entire codebase (written in Angular) from scratch.
Regrettably, after discussing with the founder, the decision has been made for OpenPredict project to close its doors. I have asked for the liquidity on Uniswap to be maintained and he has agreed to do so.
