توصیههای گروه پرایوت اعضای پروژه راسط برای هک نشدن (بعد از این که چند نفر هک شدن)
Split your tasks into separate user accounts. Run your risky tasks (email, web browsing, compiling PRs) in an unprivileged/regular user account. And avoid exposing credentials (passwords, key files, etc) to that account, as much as you can.
By default, most OSes set you up with an admin account, or an account that can easily escalate to admin/root. Only use that account for installing software, and other tasks that really need admin privileges.
Using a regular user account for everyday tasks doesn't give you perfect isolation, but it puts up an extra barrier to common attacks.
Using a dev desktop to compile other people's PRs is even safer, because any malicious code won't get access to your local machine at all. But you still need somewhere to check emails locally.
