The migration of Parch repositories has been completed.
Upon updating your system, the ppr and pcp repositories will be removed and replaced with the world repository.
sudo pacman -Syyu
If, for any reason, this does not happen automatically, you can do it manually. Simply change the following entries in your pacman.conf file:
From:
[ppr]
SigLevel = Optional TrustAll
Include = /etc/pacman.d/parch-mirrors
[pcp]
SigLevel = Optional TrustAll
Include = /etc/pacman.d/parch-mirrors
To:
[world]
SigLevel = Optional TrustAll
Include = /etc/pacman.d/parch-mirrors
With respect,
Parch Linux Development Team

This month in Parch: Parch in motion
It’s been a while since our last proper update on the Parch Linux blog, and we owe you an apology for that. Development, testing, and a few unexpected hurdles have kept us busy, and we let our posts slide. We’re sorry for the gap and deeply appreciate your patience and support as we keep Parch Linux moving forward. Today, October 20, 2025, just days after Windows 10’s support ended on October 14, we’re sharing a detailed look at what’s been happening with Parch over the past few months. This post covers new releases, tools, and core improvements, all aimed at making Parch a versatile, Arch-based distro for everyone from desktop users to mobile experimenters. Let’s dive into what’s new, with each development broken down clearly.

Parch Linux Repository Manager (mirrorman) is now in World repo!
You can install it by:
sudo pacman -Sy
sudo pacman -S mirrorman
Mirrorman would replace Reflector Simple in newer releases.

Dear community,
Parch Linux mirrors are currently inaccessible to users outside Iran. The Iranian government has closed external network access and restricted everything to the internal network only.
We are actively working on alternative distribution channels to keep Parch Linux available for everyone worldwide.
Thank you for your patience and support.

We at Parch Linux have started building something we've wanted for a long time: a full accessibility layer baked into the distro itself, not bolted on as an afterthought. Persian voice support, offline speech recognition, and a design that treats every desktop environment the same way. 🧵👇
