I just got the a question about the migraiton to Base, that I want to rather answer publicly. The question was around the timing.
As the runtime upgrade was voted "successul": https://pendulum.polkassembly.io/referendum/84?tab=onChainInfo
The runtime will be uploaded and tested in the next weeks together with attestors. I expect the first migrations with a simple UI and an announcement happening in October. Very much looking forward to it.
FloHey team, after PEN migrates to Base, will Pendulum’s historical transactions and account data remain accessible through Subscan or another archive? Is there a plan to preserve that history, or should holders export their records before migration?
Subscan was only an explorer and indexer, not where the Pendulum blockchain data is stored. Its shutdown therefore does not affect the migration.
The $PEN migration is initiated individually by each user. According to the current design, dedicated Pendulum full nodes and monitoring infrastructure will remain operational throughout the migration window, so users can migrate their PEN from Pendulum to Base without relying on Subscan.
The current target is a migration period of approximately three months, with the option to extend it if necessary. What has not yet been specified in the published migration documents is the long-term archival plan after the migration ends—for example, whether an archive node or permanent read-only RPC endpoint will remain available.
So the short answer is: the required Pendulum data and infrastructure will remain available during the migration. Long-term preservation and public access after the chain is eventually decommissioned still need to be covered by a separate decommissioning plan.

Hello everyone 👋
I never thought I'd be sharing something like this, but if it can help even one person, it's worth it. Before I found this group, I felt lost and unsure where to turn after my lung cancer diagnosis. Everything changed when I joined this doctors' group chat—it truly gave me a new sense of hope.
Through conversations here and my own research, I came across Dr. William Makis’ approach. After thinking it through carefully, I made the personal decision to follow a protocol that included ivermectin and fenbendazole. I know it sounds unconventional, and I don’t take that lightly.
What I can tell you is this: over time, I began to feel stronger. My energy returned, and for the first time in months, I felt like myself again. I started believing in the possibility of a better tomorrow. It brought me peace when I needed it most.
I’m not here to tell anyone what to do—we all walk our own path. But I do encourage you to seek out information, ask questions, and never stop fighting for your health. If you'd like to learn more about Dr. Makis’ work, he can be contacted through the invite link I’ve shared below.
Wishing each of you strength, comfort, and hope on your journey.https://t.me/+OS7yewgXfEw2NDUx
