[D] <gary3041> Here is a deal for you OG Pinephone lovers! All the accessories plus a honking huge battery and charger. Set up with Kali Linux and the OpenClaw AI agent installed: https://www.ebay.com/itm/377540321641
I'm asleep fuck offyou still got a dead one or did you RMA them
The first one lasted 4 months so I couldn't RMA it. I removed the battery and cut the appropriate traces to stop powering the chip. It was also discovered it could partially power itself over the i2c lines. Channel history has some chat about it in May 2022.
The second one that lasted 4 days I didn't get out of the package for over a month from coming in the mail (It was a present) so I couldn't RMA that one either. I finally got a new motherboard for that one a few months ago but haven't worked on it yet. The battery is more than likely toast if it's been @ 3V or less for a year.
[D] <mungfusensei> So I dove off the deep end and bought a lora cover for my pinephone. The end goal is to see if I can mess around w/ reticulum on it, but for now, I need the very basics. How can I determine if I have the proper driver/kernel module, see if it's properly recognized by the OS, etc? Just "yes, I see that this thing is connected and exists" kinda stuff.

[D] <mungfusensei> I did find https://codeberg.org/JF002/pinedio-lora-driver in the lora channel, futzing around trying to get that to compile
