Subject: query_id missing in ChatJoinRequest after setting guard bot (Bot API 10.1)
Hi,
I've set up everything according to the Bot API 10.1 documentation for the new Join Request Queries feature, but the query_id field is never present in the ChatJoinRequest updates I receive.
My setup:
getMe confirms supports_join_request_queries: true
Bot is set as the group's guard bot (confirmed via getChat, which returns guard_bot pointing to my bot)
Bot is an admin with can_invite_users permission enabled ("处理加入请求" toggled on)
join_by_request: true is set on the group
I'm polling with allowed_updates: ["chat_join_request"] explicitly
What I receive:
The ChatJoinRequest update arrives correctly, but the query_id field is always absent. According to the documentation, query_id should be present for bots assigned to process join requests (i.e., guard bots).
Question:
Is the guard bot / query_id feature fully rolled out on all data centers as of now? Could this be a server-side sync issue since Bot API 10.1 was only released on June 11, 2026?
Thank you.
P
