that, and the development model - PyQt is mainly a one-man show but very mature (been maintained by the same person since 1998 or so); while PySide is a bit newer (there used to be PySide4 for Qt 4, but Qt 5 efforts only started quite late), but PySide is probably more community-focused (Gerrit to contribute, bug tracker, nice docs, etc.)
