Qt for Python (PySide/Shiboken)

I recently updated a Cython-based python package I maintain and it's now crashing, but only if it's imported after PySide. See the following reproduction steps: $ pip install PySide6==6.7.2 nod==1.9.3 $ python -X dev -c "import PySide6; import nod; nod.open_disc_from_image('anything')" Windows fatal exception: access violation Current thread 0x0000973c (most recent call first): File "<string>", line 1 in <module> $ python -X dev -c "import nod; import PySide6; nod.open_disc_from_image('anything')" RuntimeError: Unable to open 'anything' The only code difference in my package is one line of code, but there's a big cibuildwheel version upgrade. Does anyone have any suggestions on what exactly is going on?
