Qt for Python (PySide/Shiboken)

Hi guys. Just a one question for you just for imagine. Why Python? Why not any other scripting (precompilable) lang? Could you please explain your passion with real examples? With real profits of your implementation of QT. I've seen all your demos on conference but I haven't seen real profits of python. Could you try to explain please because Im sure that you-re extremely COOL programmers. Why Python at all?
