You don't need to learn assembly. It's enough to understand the basic commands and recognize functions entries. Build a very simple c binary and then dump it with disassembler, and then compare the two. Do it multiple times. Then just play with some simple CrackMes. That's enough to start with. Oh, also watch live overflow take on it.
