329 · started my TOEFL prep yesterday and apparently my weakest area is reading, so we’re working on focus + comprehension this time…(advice if u took the taste before identifying ur weakest areas helps )
but what i actually loved was how language learning forces you outside your usual little box. you have to make a point, explain things, write, speak, think…
except i realized my box is apparently just AI, software, and products because EVERY sentence i made somehow ended up being about AI or a product ..
like girl… they asked you to make a sentence. why are we building a startup??
I genuinely love learning languages :))

the siteee it genuinely feels like sitting under a tree and reading a book :))speaking of
this is so nostalgic because i used to do exactly that in grade 11 & 12. there was this big tree where i’d hide and read. i could see people walking around, but they couldn’t see me….my aunt would bring me tea, and she’d laugh with me when i laughed at something in book …especially while reading ፍቅር እስከ መቃብር
and whenever i laughed or cried (while reading books)they’d be like “ተዋት አመሏ ነው” 🌸

The thing is I’m going back to old notes, books, and highlights, then sitting with them and asking myself why I wrote this in the first place….
Not even necessarily to organize everything into something meaningful…. I just want to sit with my own thoughts for once.
I don’t think I have a thought I can confidently say is mine so I’m just tracing where they came from, what stayed, what changed, and what I actually think now.
basically… a little archaeology of my own brain :))
