I am not sure if you realise how big Charlie Kirk actually was, I mean no disrespect to you in what I say, but Charlie Kirk was massive, he was undoubtedly the reason Trump got elected, his organisation TPUSA would hold debate sessions aft his many colleges they could, Kirk never backed down from a question. He had access to the White House, quite literally an open door. In one of the last times he went there was in July 2025 when he got heated with Trump telling him to NOT invade Iran for ANY reason, a parting shot recorded by Joe Kent was as he emerged from the Oval Office Kirk saw Kent and shouted to him, "Try to get through to your Boss, NOT to invade Iran, or will be a betrayal". His Boss was Tulsi Gabbard.
Kirk had huge influence and was undoubtley Pro Israel, no question, however that did start to turn just after the October 7th attacks by Hamas. He appeared on the PBD Podcast, the guy who has just moderated the Owens Wilson "debate". On the podcast Kirk brought up the belief that there was a stand down order by the Israel military, his belief that they were g of to ethnically cleanse Gaza, these were shocking claims from someone like Kirk on that specific Podcast.
The other issue that pushed him further away from the Jewish influence was platforming Tucker Carlson who from the TPUSA conference stage, tore into Kirks donors, taking the piss out of them basically. He then on the same bill platformed the Left leaning Spanish Smith from the "Part of the problem" podcast, to debate Josh Hammer, a Zionist extremist, Kirk moderated the debate and Dave Smith smashed Deluded, it was embarrassing to watch. This upset a LOT of donors.
Leaked text messages after his death showed he was going to bring Carlson back and Candace Owens, this was the message where he said he was leaving the Israel cause as they fullfil all the stereotypes, he had lost a huge donation, around $3 Million for hosting Carlson.
I don't think he would have walked away from supporting Israel entirely but anyone who knows the pressure they put on people know, you are only as good as your last bootlick.
I feel he was a genuinely good man, one I didn't agree with, but I could recognise he was honest, nhe met his wife in Israel and I truly believe she was a handler.
Make no mistake though, Kirk was a massive influential person for the republicans, the idea they were going to replace him with Ben Shapiro was laughed out of the room. Kirk for all his faults was the real deal, like I said, not someone who liked his politics or most of his religious views, but I could sense an honesty. In fact one of the leaked messages was one of the TPUSA asked whether they should round up figures to make them look better, Kirk replied and said "No, we don't lie"...
Sadly TPUSA is the very inversion of what he had created
