Even I knew Trump was going to try and take down / go to war with Iran when he got in the second time. That was fairly obvious. It just needed some pretext. I told a group I am on exactly that several years ago and they all said he wouldn't start any more wars and I was nuts. That was baked into the cake from day one as far as I'm concerned given the expectations of all his donors. Kirk was irrelevant to that if indeed he was anything more than a puppet from central casting.
