Three years ago, I received news that completely changed my life. I was diagnosed with lymphoma, and I remember feeling like the ground had disappeared beneath my feet. 💔🏥 I tried to stay strong for my family, but inside I was frightened and overwhelmed. 😔
The hardest part wasn’t only the diagnosis. It was the uncertainty wondering what the future would look like, worrying about treatment, and constantly asking myself whether I was going to be okay. There were nights when I couldn’t sleep because my mind was filled with questions and fear. 🥺💭
During that difficult time, I started looking for information and listening to the experiences of other people who had gone through cancer. That was when I came across information from Dr. William Makis. His discussions encouraged me to keep learning, ask questions, and look more carefully at the information surrounding my health. 🙏❤️
My journey hasn’t been perfect, and there have been difficult days along the way. But I’ve learned that hope can sometimes come from simply having the courage to keep going, keep asking questions, and surround yourself with people who understand what you’re experiencing. 🌹✨
Today, I’m grateful for every day I have and for the people who stood beside me when I needed them most. ❤️🙏 My experience taught me not to take life for granted and to appreciate even the smallest moments.
I’m sharing this because I know how lonely and frightening a cancer diagnosis can feel. Everyone’s situation is different, and what works or is appropriate for one person may not be appropriate for another. Please speak with qualified healthcare professionals and carefully consider reliable medical information before making decisions about your treatment. ❤️
