In github Sturdy7435 has raised an issue with Thor Installer,
Bug: Thor is granting all permissions to apps installed through Thor Installer.
Fix: Made the bug an option by adding in controls - now users can control if they want Thor to grant all permissions or not
This will be available from the next dev release

What's new in the upcoming release
* Dedicated workers for each work mode
* Shared worker for multi level execution (queue tasks and let them execute in an order)
* Installer can now install legacy apks(apk files with old targets)
* Fixed UI issues where settings text was getting truncated
* Added minor tweaks for bulk actions, automated few actions
* Installer can now grants permissions to app being installed(controlled)

• 📦 1.96.0 is cumulative: all updates from 1.95.0 onward.
• ⏳ Guardians Queue: follow backups, exports and bulk actions; reopen progress and results.
• 💾 Encrypted backups and Backup Hub, plus XAPK/OBB install and export.
• 🧩 Control individual components, reorder App Info actions, and choose Asgard or System fonts.
• ❄️ Safer bulk Freeze, background Suspend/Unsuspend, clearer uninstall prompts and app visibility.
• 🔐 Older APK installs with Root/Shizuku consent; permission grants are opt-in. Fix Store requires Root or Shizuku.
• 🌍 Clearer settings and eight app languages.
• ⚠️ App-data backups from 1.95.2 or earlier cannot be restored. Make fresh backups after updating while original app data is available. Keep your passphrase: it cannot be recovered.

* Installers now has option to grant all permissions (working on selecting permissions individually)
* App level font changes (system fonts or app fonts)
* Guardians - 3 Dedicated guardians

- Starlord > Dhizuku
1 shared guardian - #### - used by all others when they are busy to queue tasks
* Optimised startup time - in flagship devices its 0.2 second - in low end devices its around 1 second
* Work mode selector is now properly working

• 🛠 1.96.1 is a bug-fix and transition update. The full customization update is planned for 1.97.0.
• ❄️ Dhizuku fixes: freeze/unfreeze keeps apps and data; installs, app removal and data clearing use supported device-owner operations. Unsupported actions are clearer.
• 🗂 Freezer profiles: add selected apps to existing profiles, see each app's memberships and choose recovery when removing frozen apps.
• 🎛 Customize multi-app actions: reorder or hide App list and Freezer toolbar actions, with separate saved layouts.
• 💛 Optional support shortcuts after successful actions. Thor remains free and ad-free.

• 🧊 Shizuku hotfix: restores the system-app removal fallback when a device refuses disabling. It is on by default; an existing choice to keep it off stays off.
• ⚠️ Know the fallback: removes the app for your Android user while keeping data files; app accounts may be lost. Unfreeze reinstalls it. Manage it in Settings → Freezer → System app removal fallback. It applies to manual and automatic freezes.
• 🛠 Clearer results: improved freeze/restore errors and removal of unrelated root warnings from Shizuku tasks.
• 📜 Small-screen fix: scroll through Extensions confirmation to reach its answer and buttons, including in landscape.
• 🛡 Also new since 1.96.1: App Ops controls with verified changes, draggable Apps and Freezer scrollbars, and Japanese support.
