IMD Turns NFT Holders into Compute Providers IMD, the Fren Pet team's return, now on Ethereum, has opened its agent network to the public. Anyone holding one of 2,000 free-minted NFTs can plug in their own machine and run an agent that writes and reviews Solidity, builds websites and answers on-chain oracle queries. The swarm went from 2 team-run agents to 78 registered seats in 24 hours, with 72 machines connected, 3,859 jobs accepted and 2.7B inference tokens processed – 45 projects, 34 live deployments. Each seat runs on the holder's own PC and their own Codex or Claude subscription, so the network's compute cost is borne by NFT owners, not the protocol. The tokenomics are the actual product: every sell burns supply, 85% of tokens are routed to burn, and a protocol-owned "buy wall" redeploys LP ETH below spot on the way down. $IMD is $4.29, with a $30.7M FDV. 🔗 x.com/surfcoderepeat/status/2102050129440133156 Top 7 Perks | Variational Points +12% | Nado Private Invite | Kolo Free Card Issuance | $20 in KAST Points

Frontier AI Model Comparison: Grok 4.7 vs GPT-5.6 vs Fable 5.1 xAI's Grok 4.7 lands at $2 input / $6 output per million tokens – half of GPT-5.6 and a fifth of Anthropic's Fable 5.1 Max. The question is what you give up for the discount, and the answer is: less than the price gap suggests. Fable 5.1 still takes the most rows – CursorBench (51.8%), Terminal-Bench (57.9%), AA-Briefcase (1678) and HealthBench (62.1%) – and its 20-point lead on multi-hour terminal work is the biggest gap on the board. But Grok wins outright on electrical engineering (64.0% vs 56.4%) and legal work (19.6% vs 6.7%), and sits within a point or two of the leader on DeepSWE and office tasks. GPT-5.6 tops only one benchmark (DeepSWE, 72.7%) and trails badly on legal (2.5%) and EE (39.4%). Binance takes $100M Circle stake alongside five-year USDC deal Binance bought a $100M stake in Circle as the companies expanded their commercial arrangement around $USDC, according to an 8-K filing with the SEC. The exchange purchased 1,237,011 shares of Circle’s Class A common stock at $80.84 per share in a private placement. The equity sale closed concurrently with a new five-year commercial deal expanding the promotion of USDC held through Circle’s Modular Smart Contract Wallet infrastructure. Under the agreement, Circle agreed to pay Binance a monthly incentive fee based on a percentage of the USDC held through the wallet service. Meanwhile, Binance’s Circle shares are subject to certain restrictions. The exchange cannot sell, transfer, or hedge the shares for two years, unless it terminates the commercial arrangement under certain circumstances. 🔗 theblock.co/news/business/2026-09-22-binance-takes-100-million-circle-stake-alongside-five-year-usdc-deal-416042 Top 7 Perks | Variational Points +12% | Nado Private Invite | Kolo Free Card Issuance | $20 in KAST Points

HYPE's Road to $100B FDV Hyperliquid is $4B away from a $100B fully diluted valuation after its third all-time high in a week, with open interest at a record $17.79B. The catalyst is regulatory: Kraken's parent Payward will bring HIP-3 perps to US clients through CFTC-regulated Bitnomial – the first registered US venue on the chain, and it needs to stake 500K HYPE to do it. Underneath, the burn keeps running: 48.4M HYPE, 4.84% of max supply, already retired through the Assistance Fund, which takes ~99% of protocol fees. Only ~26% of supply circulates, so $100B FDV is a $28B market cap – and CFTC approval could take up to a year. Flare [FLR] Up 20% on the Week as XRP-Backed RLUSD Lending Hits 89% Utilisation $FLR is up ~20% in the past week as XRP holders pile into Flare-powered borrowing. The FXRP/RLUSD market on Morpho is running at ~89% utilisation: about $7.13M of Ripple's RLUSD supplied and $6.35M already borrowed against wrapped XRP. That means roughly 89 cents of every dollar is out on loan. XRP is minted into FXRP on Flare and posted as collateral in an isolated Morpho market, fed by Sentora's $280M RLUSD vault. Every loan runs through Flare, so FLR now has a use tied directly to XRP credit. 🔗 x.com/cryptodotnews/status/2100079732599521393 Top 7 Perks | Variational Points +12% | Nado Private Invite | Kolo Free Card Issuance | $20 in KAST Points

Claude Opus 5.5: Fable-Level Performance at Opus Prices Anthropic has released Claude Opus 5.5, the first model in its new 5.5 family. The pitch is that it performs at roughly Fable 5.1's level while costing $4 input / $20 output per million tokens, versus $10 / $50 for Fable. It also runs 30%+ faster than Opus 5. The coding gains are the largest. On Terminal-Bench 4.0 it scores 66.4% against 52.3% for Opus 5 and 57.9% for GPT-6 Astra. In one Anthropic test it audited and fixed a 200K-line codebase in under 3 hours, compared with 20+ hours for Opus 5. It also leads on CursorBench (57.8%) and GDPval-AA knowledge work (1846). It doesn't win everywhere. GPT-6 Astra still leads on agentic scientific research (64.6% vs 58.7%) and edges it on business workflows (41.4% vs 40%). Top 10 Chains by RWA Active Market Cap Roughly $36.6B in active RWA sits across the top ten chains, and for the first time the other nine combined hold more than Ethereum: • Ethereum – $16.6B • BNB Chain – $5.78B • Solana – $4.49B • Stellar – $3.36B • Avalanche – $1.74B • Liquid – $1.61B • Arbitrum – $1.05B • ZKsync – $971M • Polygon – $509M • XRP – $456M Ethereum still leads by a wide margin, but its share has slipped to ~45%, down from ~48% last week, as it dropped from $17.3B to $16.6B. The issuers aren't leaving; the growth is simply landing elsewhere. BNB Chain is the clearest winner, with bStocks tokenized equities pushing it well ahead of Solana. Stellar at #4 and Liquid at #6 are the quieter story. Neither has much of a DeFi scene, yet both carry billions in fund and securities issuance. For RWA, being where the issuer is counts for more than DeFi activity. 🔗 RWA.xyz Top 7 Perks | Variational Points +12% | Nado Private Invite | Kolo Free Card Issuance | $20 in KAST Points

Crypto Buybacks in the Last 30 Days Five protocols spent ~$112M buying back their own tokens over the past month, and Hyperliquid alone accounts for 56% of that: • Hyperliquid – $62.5M • Pump Fun – $24.3M • Pons – $14.8M • Stonk – $6.8M • Lighter – $3.26M The biggest buyer doesn't have the biggest impact. Annualise the 30-day pace against FDV and HYPE's buyback works out to under 1% a year, because $62.5M a month barely moves a $91B token. Pons does the reverse: $14.8M against a $475M FDV implies ~37% a year, and Stonk ~24%. The small caps come with an asterisk. Pons' month came from the Robinhood launch frenzy, and a launchpad's best 30 days is the worst possible base to annualise from. Hyperliquid routes ~99% of fees automatically and pump.fun has a contract lock to April 2027, while Lighter and Stonk buy back at the operator's discretion, so that policy can change. Catalyst Opens Early Access for Its Outcome Markets Catalyst, a "markets for moments" platform, is letting its first 1,000 waitlisted users in over the next 24 hours. The idea flips how prediction markets usually work: instead of picking from a list of pre-made events, you describe the outcome you want to trade, and the app spins up a market for it. The waitlist itself is gamified: your spot moves up as you post on X, refer others and pre-deposit funds. In the team's demo, a $180 pre-deposit jumped a user from rank #1,551 to #441. A fifth step is still hidden, and the team says it "could shake things up". Account launched in July, site is still gated, and there are no public details on fees, liquidity or a token. But user-created markets are the one corner of prediction markets that Polymarket and Kalshi don't serve, so it's worth watching once the doors open. Claude Opus 5.5 Takes #1 on the LLM Arena Anthropic's Claude Opus 5.5, released this week, debuts at the top of the Arena leaderboard with a score of 1,818. It's 26 points ahead of OpenAI's GPT-6 Astra (1,792) and 63 ahead of Anthropic's own Fable 5.1 (1,755). Anthropic now holds four of the top ten spots, and OpenAI holds two. The chasing pack is tight: from GPT-6 Sol at #5 (1,686) down to Meta's Muse Spark 1.3 at #10 (1,658), six models sit within 28 points of each other. Two Chinese labs are in that group, Alibaba with Qwen3.8-Max (1,671) and Moonshot with Kimi K3 (1,660). Only three models clear 1,750, and a 26-point lead on Arena is meaningful but not decisive, since rankings there can shift within weeks as votes accumulate. Top Perpetual DEXs by Open Interest About $17.2B in open interest sits across the top ten perp DEXs, and nearly half of it is on one venue: • Hyperliquid – $8.32B • TradeXYZ – $3.88B • Aster – $1.41B • Variational – $909M • Lighter – $834M • edgeX – $613M • Grvt – $470M • Antarctic – $357M • QFEX – $249M • Pendle – $163M The real concentration is higher than the chart shows. tradeXYZ is built on Hyperliquid through HIP-3, so together they hold ~71% of all perp DEX open interest. tradeXYZ's profile is different too. It has the second-highest OI on only $53.7B in volume, because traders hold its stock and commodity positions instead of flipping them. Fees tell a similar story. Hyperliquid made $76.1M in 30 days, roughly 3x the rest of the list combined. It earns ~3.5 basis points on every dollar traded, while Aster, Lighter and edgeX earn about 1. Plume Launches nPRIME: Real Estate-Backed Yield from Figure Plume has launched nPRIME, a vault that gives crypto users yield from Figure's $30B home loan market. Figure issues home equity loans (HELOCs) that sit on its books for ~42 days before they're sold to long-term investors. Through Democratized Prime, DeFi users fund that gap instead of banks. PRIME's base rate is around 7.5% APY, minus a 50 bps Hastra fee. The pool is over-collateralised with an average loan-to-value of 68%, and loans that fall 60+ days delinquent are removed from the collateral. The yield comes from real mortgage-style credit rather than token emissions, so it doesn't depend on the crypto market. 🔗 x.com/plumenetwork/status/2103147021066715485 Top 7 Perks | Variational Points +12% | Nado Private Invite | Kolo Free Card Issuance | $20 in KAST Points

Bitget Loses $351.6M in the Largest Crypto Hack of 2026 Bitget confirmed that attackers drained ~$351.6M from its hot and warm wallets on September 24 in 19 transfers across Ethereum, XRP Ledger, Avalanche, BNB Chain and Arbitrum. The stolen assets include ETH, XRP, USDT, USDC, AVAX, and BNB, and $170M+ has already been swapped into ETH. According to CEO Gracy Chen, no private keys were stolen. The attacker broke into a backend system in the wallet infrastructure, faked transaction data and got Bitget's own authorization process to approve the transfers. It's the same pattern as Bybit last year: attackers go after the signing process instead of the keys. Bitget says it suspects North Korean hackers. For users: the $464M+ User Protection Fund covers the full loss, and Bitget has $1B+ in its own capital on top. 🔗 x.com/GracyBitget/status/2103235655879074084 Top 7 Perks | Variational Points +12% | Nado Private Invite | Kolo Free Card Issuance | $20 in KAST Points

Top Categories by Raised Amount for Last 6 Months Roughly $10.78B across ten categories over six months, and the leaderboard has been rewritten almost entirely: • Prediction Markets - $3B • Payments - $2B • Exchanges - $1B • AI - $1B • Blockchains - $771M • DeFi - $489M • Brokerage - $473M • Mining & Compute - $433M • Infrastructure - $364M • Compliance - $250M Prediction Markets at $3B isn't a category anymore, it's the category - nearly 30% of everything raised, more than exchanges and AI combined. A year ago this was a niche bet on election cycles. Now it's the single biggest line item in crypto venture, which tells you investors aren't betting on a product, they're betting on a new default interface for information itself. Payments at $2B confirms the trend from earlier this year: distribution still beats infrastructure. Add exchanges' $1B and that's $3B chasing the front door, while the pipes behind it - blockchains, mining, infrastructure - split a smaller pool between them. AI tying exchanges at $1B is the real shift. Six months ago AI was the second-smallest bucket on this chart. Now it's tied for third. The token story is turning into a venture story. DeFi at $489M holds roughly steady, still below blockchains - the "new primitives" narrative hasn't returned, it's just no longer shrinking. Compliance showing up at $250M is new too. Nobody was funding it as its own category before; now it's a line item, which usually means regulators, not builders, set this summer's agenda. $135.2M Is Sitting Unclaimed in Crypto Bridges A new tool, Stuck Funds, has found $135.2M in bridge withdrawals that were started but never finished. The money is spread across 79 bridges and 522,000+ wallets. Most of it comes from L2-to-Ethereum withdrawals, where users never came back for the final "claim" step after the waiting period. The team first contacted owners with $10K+ balances directly, and 27 wallets recovered ~$1.66M within three days. Then it opened a public checker. In 12 hours, it saw 130K+ lookups; 9K+ wallets found stuck funds, and bridge claims rose 83%. The checker is free and read-only, with no wallet connection. You claim through the official bridge, and 100% goes to your wallet. FTX's $206B Missed Fortune If FTX had held its venture portfolio instead of liquidating it in bankruptcy, the stakes would be worth over $206B today. That's roughly 25x the ~$8B in customer funds that went missing. Anthropic makes up 83% of the total. The estate sold FTX's stake in 2024 for about $1.3B, and today the same position would be marked at $170.5B. Cursor is the most extreme multiple: a 5% pre-seed stake was sold back for around $200K in 2023 and would now be worth ~$3B, a 15,000x missed return. SpaceX ($15.1B), Solana ($7B) and Robinhood ($6.7B) are the other big ones. Not every bet looks good in hindsight. Sui returned only 2.8x, and Aptos would be underwater at 0.5x.
