also, it seems that i couldnt install un1ca 3.2.1 correctly
C
i downloaded the update, then clicked on install. The phone rebooted to recovery, which is pbrp in my case, and started installation.
C
It was installing it, and i went to wash my hands, when i came back, the screen was off, pbrp just went to sleep, so i turned it on, and the console wasnt there, so i checked it myself, and it didnt show any installation logs
C
so i thought that the update was complete and decided to reboot to system, but now the phone is bootlooping
C
im not sure if i rebooted the phone into system while it was installing the update or not
C
i also had the previous kernel with ksun
J

yes, but i have data, can i dirty flash if the installation is corrupted?

Whether a data format is required depends on what you are updating from: - ❌ You CANNOT dirty flash if you are coming from a different ROM or OS. (e.g. AOSP-based ROMs, stock One UI, or other One UI-based custom ROMs). - ✅ You CAN dirty flash when updating from an older UN1CA build (2.x.x and above). (e.g. 2.5.6 → 3.0.0, 3.0.0 → 3.0.5). - ⚠️ Dirty flashing from an older 2.x.x build (e.g. 2.5.6 → 3.2.0) is not possible for the following family of devices: - Galaxy A71 (a71) - Galaxy S20 FE (r8q) In this case, it is strongly suggested to follow the first-time installation guide to avoid issues. If you are unsure, always prefer a clean install.
