Again, Ukraine wasn't in NATO or in any way close to joining NATO. There were no negotiations to this end, no workgroups, no roadmaps, no nothing. Baltic states were in NATO since the 90-s, Finland and Sweden joined after 2022. But russia didn't attack them, it attacked Ukraine. It did not attack NATO, it did not attack a country that was already in NATO, nor did it attack a country that was about to join NATO, it attacked a country that had nothing to do with NATO at all. So how is it about NATO? The whole idea to justify russian aggression against Ukraine with "but NATO was expanding!" is so absurd that I can't believe people would come up with it on their own. Tell me, where did you get it? Are you watching RT or something?
