Sometimes the simple historical record will tell us a lot… In Vietnam they had to draft people to fight their war, in World War II, they knew that "they" had been attacked and they were going to fight back. Pearl Harbor had done something to people… Down the line they find out that government let that happen so that they would have that excuse, but it certainly wasn't the same as Vietnam where they couldn't have possibly made that happen.
