Unfortunately, things are complicated; there's a lot of FUD surrounding the project. The lack of movement only empowers the people spreading that FUD—there's so much of it on the Binance Square feed that it makes it hard for new investors to get on board. That’s just my opinion; I hope I don't get kicked out for expressing it.

Examples of FUD?
Mr. TyOn Halo, for the agents it says $1/1 M. What's the 1 M? 1 M of what?
They will charge at least $1 for serving 1M tokens

What's the spend rate for a task? Let's say for generating a 5-second video?

It completely depends on the kind of feedback you’re getting from the agent and how much the agent is charging you. So, it’s difficult to give an exact figure.
That’s why they have provided the minimum token value there, so you can see how much it will cost you if you use one million tokens.
Amin_EthJust understand this much: 1 token = 3–4 English characters
Characters on my prompt, or on the agent's side in performing a task?
Amin_EthAccording to how many characters the agent will give you.
You can provide a prompt with 5 characters, but the agent will charge you based on the number of characters you provide.
If you check further, you’ll see that different agents charge different prices for serving 1M tokens.

I understand the concern. FUD is always going to exist around projects, especially when people are waiting for major updates. But the best response isn’t to fight every narrative it’s to keep building, shipping and communicating clearly. There’s a lot happening across the Warden ecosystem, and I believe the upcoming products and updates will speak for themselves. Let’s keep the community focused on facts, progress and what the team is actually delivering. 🤝

So it's better to keep my sentences short and simple?
Mr. TySo it's better to keep my sentences short and simple?
Shortening your sentence does not necessarily mean your cost will be lower. It depends on how much feedback the agent provides.
For example, if you simply write “hlw,” but the agent responds with “Hi! How are you?”, the agent has generated 4 words. Those 4 words can require around 3 to 4 tokens to serve.
So, the cost mainly depends on the amount of output or feedback generated by the agent, not just on how short your input sentence is.
(The token ratio may be higher or lower.)

But what about when the output is an image or a video?
Mr. TyHow is it calculated?
For images and videos, tokens work differently from normal text.
The prompt you write is still converted into text tokens, but the generated image or video is not simply counted as (1 token = 1 word.[It could be less or more.] ) The cost usually depends on the model, resolution, duration and other processing requirements.
For an image, the model processes your prompt as tokens and then generates the image based on that input.
Some models also calculate the image itself using image specific units or compute, rather than ordinary text tokens.
For video, the calculation can depend on factors such as resolution, duration, frame rate and the model being used.
So you cannot directly calculate image or video cost by counting the words in the prompt.
