In John 3:1-2, Nicodemus straight up tells Christ that the Pharisees knew (at the absolute minimum) that Christ came from God. Yet, the jews wanted to kill Christ anyways.

I had the same question but I feel like he's making a statement on fundamentals. You cant build an economy if you aren't first willing to defend it, or fight to create it in the first place.

I may agree, depending on what you mean by this In my opinion, if it was truly a globalist religion with no national identity or care at all in this world, then there would’ve been no thought as to what constitutes a stumbling block to the conversion of Germans or Greeks

“Make disciples of all nations” This presumes the existence of nations. It went amiably enough. He was willing to listen to me without cutting me off. But we did disagree on a lot. He recommended Poplin’s book Canvas of Creation, which I can already tell is going to be pretty terrible. My plan is to read it anyway and point out what it gets wrong. This might end up in a struggle session, but I’m willing to endure that instead of just leaving, because as far as I know, there aren’t any other churches in my area that are better on this issue.

I believe Poplin is the accuser who charged Sam Ketcham with "kinism" that ended up getting him ousted from the OPC. If he's not the direct accuser, he was involved. He testified at the appeal hearing against Ketcham
