Nice, I was looking at tronweb's api reference and some of the functions say "Do not use this in any web / user-facing applications. This will expose the private key." That just means it shouldnt be called on a webpage frontend, right? Its fine to call it when running from nodejs?

yeah totally fine to call from Node.js, as long as you have your private key stored somewhere save.

like an environment variable, or even better the system keychain.

Node.js has great libraries for accessing system keychains, I personally use node-ktar

yea I was thinking of using an environment variable and trongrid's nodes like in this boilerplate

Just wanted to make sure what I was doing was secure lol
