The diagram illustrates the number of stages that required to produce aluminium cans.
Overall, the production of aluminium cans is a totally man-made and lengthy process, including 11 different phases lasting for six weeks, which starts with collecting waste products by garbage trucks and finishes with manufacturing ready-to-use cans.
The process begins when the waste products are gathered by a garbage truck, which is followed by depositing them in the factory. Once placed, they are washed with clean water and subsequently crushed into large blocks in hydraulic press.
During the next stage, the large blocks are processed to prepare for the further chemical treatment to erase and remove unwanted particles and impurities. After the aluminium cans are melted into liquid form by heating at high temperature, the liquid is then poured into special mould to make raw material.
Upon completion, the aluminium cans are weighted to maintain their balance and weight. Once they have been rolled, the final aluminium cans are produced and ready to use.
