Qt for Python (PySide/Shiboken)

IANAL - I have no idea how LGPL and GPL mix when you want to release a GPL application using LGPL 3rd party libraries. What I can tell you is that there are some bits in PySide that are LGPL and others that are GPL: https://qtinfo.dev/qtforpython/#/5 As per https://www.qt.io/licensing/open-source-lgpl-obligations It reads to me that if you choose to be full GPL, you can use Qt-libraries as GPL too (even if they are LGPL) since by definition GPL has more restrictions than LGPL, so you can use LGPL software in a more restrictive way.
