You want a splash screen. QSplashScreen is designed just for this purpose.
It gives you a way to update the user on progress starting the app as well, and, if you want to do your own drawing, you can subclass it and implement drawContents.

The error I am getting for harvester
'harvester' is not recognized as an internal or external command
Freyayou wouldn't get this for a library usually, it sounds more like your application is trying to run an external script
this is work in laptops some peoples, but in some users laptops its doesn't work

RicardoGuys! One doubt about the licensing: If my software is under GPLv3 because of a given Qt library, how would I apply the licensing if PySide is either LGPLv3 or GPLv2?
PySide applies the licensing the same way that Qt does. For Qt modules that are GPLv3, the PySide wrappers for it, and python code binding it are also GPLv3. Most are LGPLv3 though.

RicardoHmm! In Qt FAQ, it says LPGL modules automatically applies as a GPLv3 as well. I understand this can be used on my SW withouth having to dual license it, right?

IANAL - I have no idea how LGPL and GPL mix when you want to release a GPL application using LGPL 3rd party libraries.
What I can tell you is that there are some bits in PySide that are LGPL and others that are GPL: https://qtinfo.dev/qtforpython/#/5
As per https://www.qt.io/licensing/open-source-lgpl-obligations
It reads to me that if you choose to be full GPL, you can use Qt-libraries as GPL too (even if they are LGPL)
since by definition GPL has more restrictions than LGPL, so you can use LGPL software in a more restrictive way.
