hmm, nice, not many contributors, but that's similar to my ancient stackless project. I am really undecided whether I should work on Adrian's approach or an own one. Maybe both, in order to get progress and make users happy , and in parallel work on a threadless thingie that does not bend over backwards to keep Python's model...

So I assume that the Qt team has not given up on the development of QtAsyncIO, but is still working on the design. Am I correct?
it has not been given up, and I am going to work on it, given that I get approval tomorrow in the meeting. I want to continue on the started QtAsync branch as it is and finish it. Maybe a coroutine based version will emerge, too. But right now I am after running nice tools on PySide like Playwright, and that enforces total asyncio compatibility.

Is there a way to fix janky resizing of Qt Quick windows?
From my research it sounds hard to fix, because Qt Quick uses OpenGL and resizing is computationally expensive and not sync'd with the view, in contrast to normal Qt + Qt Widgets, which uses QPainter.
It seems all Qt Quick apps have janky resizing. Even KDE's apps.
