Qt for Python (PySide/Shiboken)

It is still there and will stay for a long time. Right now, Qt6 and therefore also PySide6 are early products, and many modules are still missing.

I assume I can get the shiboken2 generator as well?

I don't understand why you ask obvious things instead of trying pip3 install shiboken2_generator.

Well I just recall that the generator wasn't able to be installed with pip and we needed to use the wheels

QSettings. You can have qsettings save to an .ini file if you wish
