You can write acceptance tests with human readable use case descriptions (features). Very nice tool

Nothing I know of, it's essentially just a combination of pytest-bdd and pytest-qt
FreyaThough my use case might be a bit special, in those end2end tests I actually start qutebrowser in a subprocess and interact with it via commands sent to it - not sure if that actually was a good idea after all
did you code the commands interface into the app or is there a way to screate a “model” of the UI like it’s done with web-apps and selenium?

for web apps it’s actually a good tool for automated end-to-end acceptance tests
take look at python-behave and it’s usage with selenium webdriver

no, those are actually tests which run
id 333718261so adjust size of Qdialog in pyside2 is not working for me. I tried, min max, resize, it does not change the dialog window size
maybe try with something other than QDialog first, IIRC QDialog has its own kind of weird size handling
