Hello! Can I ask about compilation from pyside6 to android? Did you use pyside6-android-deploy to compile the wheels? If so, what versions of Python and SDK/NDK are you using? Thanks in advance for your reply! I'm trying to port an app for the first time and am having a lot of trouble.
As for "the documentation is lacking" part, the easiest test is to look for literally :: within the Qt-for-Python docs. For example, I start from https://doc.qt.io/qtforpython-6/modules.html, pick QtCore, randomly scroll to QFile, look for ::, and there it is!

the method does exist and code run with no problem. only IDE complains about types.

you are right, i removed QApplication.instance() and now the type check error disappeared.
