id 1285181588Can i update my pyside via pip then?
PySide will remain on PyPi, so you will be able to installed via pip, that won’t change, it’s the most common way to get packages.
id 370142589I wish PySide2 would have been just PySide==2.0.0 and now PySide==3.0.0 =(
I wish so many things could be different to be honest
id 370142589semver says major versions can break things, so PySide==2.0.0 made more sense than a different package! but anyways, will it be PySide2 with a different version number or it will be PySide3?
It’s called PySide6, and before we all go super innovative with name suggestions…No, we couldn’t go back to PySide (without a number), and yes we also considered that name you are thinking 😛
you will see magical things too when another Florian type at the same time as you @thecompiler 😛

JimHow should be Slot declared to return a list of QObject to QML.
@Slot(result="QVariantList") returns a list of null
I answer to myself : QObjects need to be parented first (to a native python QObject class or qml QObject )
