There is a video I remember of Joe Rogan when much younger being interviewed during which he said he would do anything for fame and money. So far I haven't been able to find it again. Might be recorded on an old drive somewhere. Maybe it's been scrubbed from the web. I will keep looking. Pretty sure Joe Rogan has handlers and enablers if I can put it that way.

The first scientifically described dinosaur was Megalosaurus, named by the British geologist William Buckland in 1824 from fossil fragments found in the Stonehenge (Middle Jurassic) Stonesfield Slate of Oxfordshire, England. Earlier, in the 1770s, large bone pieces were uncovered at the same Stonesfield site, but they were only noted as “big bones” and never classified; they therefore have little scientific relevance. A couple of years later, in 1822, Gideon Mantell described Iguanodon teeth from Sussex, marking the first recognized herbivorous dinosaur, but Buckland’s Megalosaurus remains the earliest formal dinosaur description.

Stone Alchemy
Modern crafty people create forms by draping cloth or crochet in cement, letting it harden into delicate, fabric-like ornaments. Could ancient artisans have used similar techniques?

So glad you posted this. I showed a friend who is a Masters graduate and they were stunned. They have seen Michelangelo, I showed them a photo of Strazzas "Veiled Virgin" they were truly stunned. His was a later work but there are earlier examples of veiled marble with true translucence. I have always found sculpture remarkable for its fine lines if error, painting, one always presumes can be rectified by redoing, that doesn't work when carving from a block of marble.
I look forward to seeing more informed responses then my own.
