Hi All, I have got submitted with my PWD today, what would be the estimated time for its approval?

My understanding is that you have to submit the case again with the new company name. My process had this situation and it had to start over, luckily it was during the beginning of the first PERM process, before recruiting.

IBM had layoff, they generally will not be able to file new PERM for 180 days

Anyone’s perm got approved with layoffs in the company and perm filed within 180 days ? Was there an automatic audit ?

Yes but the overall pace is very slow yesterday and today. Likely less than 700 today

I went through the exact same situation, you need to ask your employer if the change or acquisition type is successor in interest, if it is, then you are good and you can continue with your PERM as it is. If it is not a successor in interest (my situation) then you have to restart the whole process, I hope this is not your case. Good luck!

Has anyone noticed that DOL’s Audit Review is at Dec 2025, while Analyst Review is at Oct 2025? How can the audit queue be ahead of analyst review? Also, does the Audit Review date refer to the original PERM filing date or the date the audit response was submitted?

Anyone knows the average time it takes to get I 485 approved for EB2 category if you filed using concurrent mode?. Most colleagues say it’s 4-5 months but the USCIS website processing time is saying something different

4-5 months? When was that? With current backlogs one would easily wait for a year. I have couple of friends waiting for 9+ months already
