Apologies if this has already been answered - my IBKR status is at “Awaiting receipt of Securities” with a note “IBKR is waiting for your Transfer Agent to initiate the security transfer. If you haven't already, please request the transfer from your Transfer Agent” Is there something we need to do at Odyssey? I can’t see any option to inform them of transfer

Yes, if you are a Non-US Shareholder without a US TIN, you DO NOT have to give IBKR the Tax ID in your Country. Let the pre-filled 999999999 existing already in the Tax Box (you can see it if check the Box Edit to the right) and don't change anything.

Yes I am also at this stage. The status has remained the same for a couple of days, seems like it's luck based seeing that some got it transferred over in a day. But all we can do is sit tight

I send also a message to odyssey to send my shares to IBRK, because IBRK has set the DRS to accept the shares, not to get the shares themself

May I ask, for the people who submitted *DRS* in IBKR; I didn’t have a field to state the name of the transfer agent (odyssey) - how does IBKR know where they should pull the stocks from?

I thought I had filled in a field on the app but maybe I am misremembering 🙄

I have sent a message to Odyssey with my IBKR account information, asking them to transfer my shares to IBKR and to send me a confirmation once the transfer has been initiated.

the transfer agent for a soon to be listed stock is linked to the CUSIP in the SEC's centralised database, the broker looks it up, no need to ask you because the system knows who the transfer agent is

started from the broker side yes, but after that it is in the transfer agent's hands, that is why IBKR states once they've done their part, you may want to reach out to Odyssey to complete the process as it is in their hands at that point

When setting up your account you will see IBKR basically covered all the W8 questions anyway from their end.Good luck🤞
