On the other hand, some people think it is a waste of money. The government may need to build stadiums, improve airports, expand the public transport system, and prepare accommodation for visitors. They believe it is more important to spend money on hospitals, schools, or other essential public services instead of spending it on sporting events. In my opinion, spending a lot of money on events, especially the Olympic Games and the FIFA World Cup, is really useful for our country. It is beneficial not only for athletes but also for local residents because these events can provide jobs and help people earn more money. Also, the main positive side is that international relationships can become stronger and more stable.
