Qt for Python (PySide/Shiboken)

QML is a pretty simple language. I do this too. Just need to be familiar with the various choices of QML Items.

I prefer QtCreator because of all the auto completion and quick help (F1). But I could use Vim if I was more familiarised with the lang.

I like QtCreator code completition for QML too. I would have the same in VSCode (where I edit python files), but until now I haven't found a valid plugin. I use often QML Live for live update of my components/pages (dual monitor is a plus). My main reason against the Qt Quick Designer is the possibility to build responsive (or multi-size display) UI..... but may be I don't know all its features well. Yeah, there are some VS Code plugins for Qt and PySide, but they don't really seem to do much
