Sounds like a bug to me.. Can you search bugreports.qt.io for it? If you don't find it, report it? If you'd like, supply a PySide example. I can go back and translate it into a C++ example (for the non-pyside specific bugs, they often like having C++ reproducer examples)

Hi, I'm confused with size Hint & Policy. Is there any resource to understand better this concept?

mmm cannot recall any special doc...but I understand it as: * size hints is the preferred size of a widget * size policy is the rule to define how the size of a widget will change in case the layout cannot use the size hint
