Hello everyone, how can i pass a python boolean value to a visible atribute in qml through a slot function? Im trying to put an event indicator image in a calendar day delegate and that image is only visible for days that have an event but returning a python boolean value is undefined for the qml

I can't give you any alternative because I used Qt only once and have opted to not customise the UI and live it to the OS.

Could you explain why I have python-pyqt6 in my arch repository ? I thought the licence was not compatible ?

basically, PyQt is under the GPL (same license than the Linux kernel btw), PySide is under the LGPL. The LGPL permits distributing a closed-source Application using PySide; the GPL would forbid that (basically, if your code uses a GPL library, your code needs to be GPL or compatible too)

distributions have a long list of licenses they are ok with, e.g. https://wiki.debian.org/DFSGLicenses for Debian - others, like Archlinux, are even ok with packaging proprietary software in their repos as long as they get permission
