Hi there! I wonder if its safe to have multiple QQmlEngine's in single app?

I have more familiarity with QML. As far as I'm aware, you can only have one QQmlEngine running in a given process. Now, Qt has a solution for this that is commercial/GPLv3 (not LGPL). That is the Qt Application Manager, which orchestrates multiple Qt QML processes. https://doc.qt.io/QtApplicationManager/singlevsmultiprocess.html I'm not actually sure if Qt for Python wraps that or not. @cmaureir do you know?

Is there a Python class to ease the creation of UI files from Python code? Say, I have a bunch of widgets of a Borland Delphi form.

those are not compatible. you need to convert them to a UI file by hand.

I'd like to speed it up with a Python code. That would be more convenient if there is a class to construct a correct UI file. Nailed it: I can use PyXB and the scheme to make the file.

So, not part of the official full Qt offering - it's a separate thing. I think we offer it bundled with the Automotive suite commercially. It is available as OSS though (GPLv3 only).

Then one could expose it and release but it's a mater of testing then...

Someone would have to take the mantle of making the Python bindings using shiboken. If anyone here wanted to do that, you'd have some folks to help answer any shiboken questions they may have.

I haven't played around with it, though a couple of co-workers are using it now IIRC.
