that statement was related to the 6.8.0 release happening before 3.13.0 release originally. I'd say, we just need to wait in case there is some ugly bug that can be fixed in the following versions, but considering both releases are .0 errors are expected
I stand correted glkindlmann, 6.8.0.1 is fully compatible with 3.13.0, so we are just waiting for user-reported bugs to discover things that don't work well

You probably need to push 6.8.0.2 with fixes for the package metadata. It is marked as compatible with > 3.9 and < 3.13, so pip refuses to install the wheels. $ python --version Python 3.13.0 $ pip install PySide6-Essentials […] ERROR: Could not find a version that satisfies the requirement PySide6-Essentials (from versions: none) ERROR: No matching distribution found for PySide6-Essentials

* I meant compatible Python versioss >= 3.9, < 3.13 (not > 3.9). Also 3.13 not listed in the classifiers list
