@cmaureir How to determine if the cellChanged signal of QWidget is properly connected to the slot function??? determine before disconnect or connect self.tableWidget_general.cellChanged.connect(self.tableWidget_general_cellChanged) self.tableWidget_general.cellChanged.disconnect()

if you used .connect it will be properly connected. Otherwise you cannot check

Report Lab is awfully hard to use on their open source version and overpower for what I intend.

You don't need to know before the disconnect - just disconnect it and catch the exception (if PySide also raises an exception if it wasn't connected, I only know PyQt5 does)

PySide2 no, the same as Qt5. Mainly because all the development of Qt is focused on Qt6 and PySide6

Those are coming in Qt 6.2, which is around the corner. At least QtWebEngine is.. and I think but am not sure QtMultimedia is.
