it might be it's solved in pyside6 yannd because we have examples like this one: https://doc.qt.io/qtforpython/examples/example_widgets__thread_signals.html and it works (i think it's related to your code)
@boris_ do you want this to be like the background to your QGraphicsScene?
@boris_ it sounds like you'll need to set the position of the QGraphicsPixmapItem yourself.
Call pixmapItem.setPos(QPointF(newX, newY))
Where newX and newY are set to where the top left should be to center your pixmap in the scene (take center point of scene, subtract half the height for y, subtract half the width for X)
