Bloo AlienI've been using PyQt5 for the longest time now, but I've recently started leaning toward Qt6 and started wondering if maybe it's time to switch to PySide at the same time I make the switch to more Qt6.
If the transition will be done in parallel with the legacy maintenance, I'd say why not? I see more advantages then disadvantages.

Qt Location module is what you want to use. It is available in Qt5, but still a work-in-progress for Qt6. You can follow the progress in:

@Numerlor, pass --build-docs to the python setup.py command line.
Make sure you have sphinx and graphviz modules installed, and libxml2 and libxslt installed on your system.
to get all the required python modules, you can run pip install -r <base of pyside-setup repo>/requirements.txt in the venv you're in.

the target you are supposed to build is apidoc:
go to the generated *_build/*_release/pyside6 directory, and run:
ninja apidoc
(Note I'm just providing excerpts from the above doc - which I'm guessing you've been referring to)

@Numerlor Huh — the layout changed at some point after PySide6 6.2 it looks like.. I can't find out how to do it either.

Oh apologies. When I say Qt 5 and Qt 6, that translates to PySide2 and PySide6 respectively.
So that means you have access to Qt Location in PySide2, but not in PySide6 yet.
