In my opinion, it provides a way of thinking. Maybe it is not necessary to go through the ancient way from the bottom up. It is a good workaround and reduces the boilerplate code.

I know Bruno' work, it's mostly about the fact of "actively maintained" sounded to me that there were a few commits in the past weeks or something :P

This library is not elegant in every way. As its readme says, it just simplifies the signal callback boilerplate code through async await.
