dev is Qt 6 (there's not going to be a Qt 5.16), but how's that related to that pytest-qt change?
Hi there. I faced with strange behavior. I always thought, that signal/slot system works as triggered slot code wont run until emitter code ends and flow goes back to qt loop. But, right now I see, that signal.emit() blocks, until connected slot done. Pure python signal and slot to be exact. Is it normal?
Here is tiny example which leads to python recursion limit: from PySide2.QtCore import QObject, Signal, Slot from PySide2.QtWidgets import QApplication class T(QObject): signal = Signal() def __init__(self): super().__init__() self.signal.connect(self.slot) @Slot() def slot(self): print("enter action") self.signal.emit() print("exit action") app = QApplication() t = T() t.slot() app.exec_()
