it was already reported : https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/PYSIDE-1426 and fixed but nont y et released I guess.

Sounds like the decorator doesn't take into account the property being constant when transforming it, and provides write and notify methods when it shouldn't.

Can you go file a bug for this at https://bugreports.qt.io/projects/PYSIDE ? (click the <Create> button in the top bar. Project should already be defaulted to Qt for Python)
Be sure to attach your minimal example that reproduces the bug.

FreyaIf your application is open source, anyone can trivially remove that check - if it's obfuscated / closed source (though that's difficult with Python; and you will need a commercial Qt/PySide license), anyone still can, it's just a bit more work perhaps
