What I’m having difficulty in wrapping my head around are the examples of the QtTreeModel which seem to only show the connectivity with hierarchical data (root, parents and children), leading me to believe the data table has to already be in hierarchical form, not just a 2D data frame layout. This leads me to believe I have to make the conversion from 2D to a hierarchical table/structure first (using pandas or SQL) and then connect the Qt model to that table, not the 2D table directly. I haven’t seen any examples where the Qt model connects directly to a pd.data table; but very likely I’m being a total idiot in trying to figure it out. Hopefully I explained it well. Thanks

not sure what's there to fix. those errors are from a refactoring tool from creator, nothing related to the code itself.

yeah, there is a language server protocol there, but there are not too many fancy options

you seem to have many issues with your python configuration in your system.

Use a virtual environment, then change qtcreator to use that virtual environment.

So this works directly with a jason file instead of a pandas dataframe. That's even more helpful since the data I initially receive is in json format that I retrieve from an 0Auth API. I wasn't aware that Qt had a json data model as well.

I prefer to code on PyCharm, Vim or even Kate. I tried QtCreator, but it did not suit me well. Both for Python and Qml.
