Qt for Python (PySide/Shiboken)

Oh, I have successfully built PyPy wheels and submitted them to the PyPy group. Unfortunately this did not help to solve the problems. There is still some deeply internal thing broken that I'm hunting like hell. It is very hard to track down bugs when you can't trust that the compiler (the PyPy JIT) understands what you are doing.

what do you mean 'with Qt', like a Python extension for a Qt/C++ project? if that's the case, that's the whole idea of 'Shiboken' :)

Dridk Shiboken is a binding generator that enables you to run C++ code from Python (like Pybind11, Swig etc) If this is what you want, then I would recommend it. Here is an example: https://doc.qt.io/qtforpython/shiboken6/examples/index.html

wow porting from pyqt5 to pyqt6/pyside6 really isn't that easy

at least for qtwebengine, they moved a lot of modules

not at all, but there are different projects This is Qt for Python (PySide/Shiboken) by The Qt Company, and PyQt/sip is developed by Riverbank.

@altendky does Qt.py handle the API differences? in the sense of new methods that needs to be used instead of others? :O
